I got an email a month and a half ago saying I qualified for a €300 credit, but I haven't heard back since. I created a support case two weeks ago, but it still hasn't been assigned to anyone. In the past, when I did get responses, they were super generic—like something my grandma could have answered.

Yeah, AWS support can take a while to respond. I've waited weeks before too, and the replies often feel really generic. You might want to try escalating your issue or posting about it on their forums to get better traction.
In my experience, AWS support can actually be quite good. If you need help fast, I recommend using the chat option instead of email, since I usually get someone on chat within an hour. Plus, sometimes they offer to jump on a call so you can share your screen and get real-time assistance. Just a heads up though, I think I might have been lucky with my experiences.

Do you actually pay for support? That could make a difference.
