Hey everyone! I'm currently using an Nvidia 2070 Super with my Ryzen 3700X and I'm thinking of upgrading to a current-gen graphics card. My goal is to achieve 1440p at 60 fps without running into major CPU bottlenecks, especially since I'm not planning to upgrade my CPU for at least the next 6-8 months. Most of my gaming revolves around RPGs and story-driven games, so no intense competitive FPS here. Here's my full build for reference: Ryzen 3700X paired with a Noctua D15 cooler, Gigabyte X370 Aorus Elite motherboard, 32 GB of G Skill DR3600 RAM, a Crucial P1 1TB NVMe SSD, a Samsung 860 EVO SATA SSD, and my Zotac RTX 2070 Super. If anyone has suggestions or insights, I'd really appreciate it!

I would also suggest considering the Nvidia RTX 3070. It’s powerful enough for 1440p at 60 fps and won't bottleneck too much with your CPU. Plus, if you're into ray tracing, it's a nice feature to have for those story-driven games. Just make sure to check your case clearance and power supply compatibility!
Honestly, if you're looking to grab a GPU during sales, the AMD Radeon RX 6800 or Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti could be great options. Both should handle 1440p gaming well without causing major bottlenecks with your Ryzen 3700X. Since you're mainly into RPGs, you'll get a solid performance boost over your 2070 Super! Just keep in mind your PSU capacity as well. Good luck with your upgrade!
I agree! The 6800 has amazing performance and the 3060 Ti is a great choice too. Just watch out for pricing during those sales, they can get crazy!

Yeah, the 3070 is a fantastic card! It gives you room for future upgrades since you'll be able to push higher settings as your whole build evolves.
