Hey everyone! I'm really overdue for a PC upgrade and I've been out of the loop for a while. I'm planning to research what's currently available soon, but I wanted to get your opinions. Aside from my hard drives, is there anything from my current setup that's still worth keeping? Here's my build:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2 GHz Quad-Core
- Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Pro4 ATX LGA1150
- Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3-1600
- Storage: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1 TB 7200 RPM
- Video Card: Asus Radeon HD 6670 1 GB
- Case: Rosewill CHALLENGER ATX Mid Tower
- Power Supply: Antec Earthwatts Green 380 W 80+ Bronze
- Monitor: Asus MX259H 25.0" 1080p
I have a feeling I might be missing something. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

If I were you, I’d actually pass on trying to keep too much. Only consider keeping the case and monitor, and set yourself a clear budget for your new parts.
Don't forget you'll want to keep your mouse and keyboard! Also, you might hold on to some power cables, as those can often be reused.
It would help to know what you'll be using your new build for! From what I see, this setup is pretty basic and great for web browsing or light office work, but it might struggle with more demanding tasks.
Honestly, I think it's time for a whole new build. There's not much in your current setup that's worth keeping.
Your monitor is a keeper, especially if you’re considering a dual-display setup. The case can also be reused, but things like RAM and CPU are likely not compatible with newer hardware.
