I'm planning to clone my Windows 11 boot drive to a larger SSD. I want to keep the old drive as a backup just in case something goes wrong with the new one. If I need to, can I boot from the old drive using a USB?

You can't boot from the old drive using USB directly, but you can put the old drive back in your system and boot from it that way.

Just curious, why not? If I change the boot order to USB first, won't it work?
