Is it realistic to find a remote job in Europe that pays over 100K?

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a job after my current US client wasn't pleased with me taking paternity leave. I'm curious about how realistic it is to find a remote job in Europe that offers more than 100K. Has anyone done this successfully? I've thought about creating an LLC in the US to attract clients there, but that comes with its own issues, especially with bureaucracy. I'm also considering specializing in a niche area—my background is in embedded software, so areas like eBPF sound appealing. I'm looking for recommendations since I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with options like Kubernetes development, AI, and security. Thanks for any guidance!

In Switzerland, landing a job that pays 100K is quite feasible, and many can even hit 150-180K if they're savvy. Living in Switzerland is costly, so 100K isn't particularly impressive there. If you're considering remote work, the salary can vary with currency fluctuations, but there are definitely opportunities out there. Check out swissdevjobs—salaries are listed too, which is rare in the EU.

Thanks! I did an internship in Switzerland before, so I know a bit about the place. However, it was tough to stay since I wasn't Swiss. Fingers crossed it will be easier this time!
