Installing Multiple Operating Systems: What’s the Best Approach?

I recently set up Fedora Kiniote on a 50GB partition, but I ran into a problem with space when trying to install CachyOS on the remaining space—my boot drive ended up full. Since I haven't transferred any files yet and the OS is fresh, I'm considering wiping the drive. Should I try installing CachyOS first and then Fedora afterwards to see if that helps with the bootloader integration? What's the best way to set this up?

When you say "boot drive," are you referring to the EFI partition?

Yeah, the /boot/EFI/ partition is full. I think it's around 800MB.

You definitely want to create separate partitions for each OS, but if you're just testing which one you like best, you could start by booting them from a USB stick first. Then you can decide which one you want to install permanently.

Got it! I want to keep a 50GB partition for Fedora, and maybe experiment with CachyOS on a larger partition.

Yeah, the usual practice is to install one OS after the other. You might get better results that way!
