I just got a new PC from a friend, and it only has a 500GB SSD with Windows 11 installed. I've run into some storage issues due to large game sizes. I still have my old PC, which isn't working anymore due to a power supply failure. The old PC has a 1TB HDD with Windows 10 on it that should still be functional. I'd like to know if I can just remove the old HDD and install it in my new PC alongside the SSD without causing issues with the two different Windows installations. Can I use the HDD as a secondary storage device?

You can definitely install that HDD as a secondary drive! It shouldn't cause any problems as long as you’re not trying to boot from it. It will just show up as a regular drive in your new system.

Great to know! By the way, will my new system automatically use the SSD as the boot drive after I install the HDD, or do I need to adjust anything?
