What Could Be Causing My Gaming Performance Issues?

I've been upgrading my gaming rig recently, with the last significant upgrade happening about a decade ago. Despite replacing almost every component, I'm still experiencing problems like frame drops, crashes, and slow load times in Fortnite, unless I lower the settings to a bare minimum, which makes the game unplayable. My setup includes an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, B650 Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, and an Adata Premier SP550 120GB SSD, which is the oldest part of the system. All drivers should be current, and a professional confirmed that everything was put back together correctly. I'm looking for advice on what could be causing these issues and how to fix them!

It sounds like your SSD might be the bottleneck here. The speed of storage devices can greatly affect game load times and performance, especially in modern titles. You could also consider tweaking your in-game settings for better performance.

Yeah, I wondered about the SSD being a problem. I’m not too familiar with specs, so if you have any recommendations for upgrades, I’d appreciate it!

You might want to consider upgrading your power supply unit (PSU). It's good to have at least a B-tier PSU to ensure your system runs smoothly. Also, upgrading to a faster GPU could help a lot, but it really depends on what your budget is and what's available in your area.

My PSU is a Corsair RM750e. I thought it was a solid choice, but I guess I could look into better options. I’ll also check out some GPUs that fit my budget.
