Why isn’t my DDR5 RAM hitting XMP speeds?

I recently completed a build, and while everything went smoothly, I ran into an issue where XMP for my RAM failed. I've tried manually adjusting the speed, timing, and voltages, but I can't get it past 5200 CL36. Is this likely a bad memory bin? Should I consider exchanging the RAM for a different kit and cross my fingers it works better? Since I received it as a gift with the motherboard, getting a refund isn't an option. This setup isn't for gaming, so would the 5200 speed be acceptable? I know Intel CPUs prefer higher speed RAM. For reference, I'm using a Corsair Vengeance 2 x 16GB kit rated for 6000 MT/s CL36 on an MSI Z890 MPG Edge TI WIFI motherboard with an Intel 265K processor. The BIOS is fully updated, and I've installed the RAM in the correct slots according to the manual. Any advice would be appreciated!

Your Intel 15th gen memory controller should handle that RAM speed without a hitch. The 14th gen could easily hit higher XMP speeds, and it's mostly AMD CPUs that struggle with higher EXPO settings. Could be really unfortunate if your CPU has a bad memory controller, though. I’d recommend trying a different RAM kit to see if that solves the issue.

I've seen that combo quite a bit since Newegg had a sweet deal on it recently. Should I just exchange it for the same kit and hope for better results? Even though 5200 on a 6000-rated kit is quite disappointing, I’m hoping Intel's benefits from faster RAM might kick in with a different set.
