I recently upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 3 3200G to a Ryzen 5 3600, and now my audio has disappeared. I've checked the sound settings, and I can see the microphone listed, but my headset isn't showing up at all even though the mic is functioning. Last night, I updated my BIOS and installed a new GPU driver, but that didn't resolve the issue. I'm at a loss as to what might have gone wrong after the CPU replacement. Here's what I've tried so far:
- Reinstalling the Realtek audio drivers (though I couldn't find any for Windows 11)
- Reinstalling the Adrenaline software
- Disabling and then re-enabling the onboard audio

You should try visiting the motherboard manufacturer's website to download the correct audio drivers. Sometimes, after hardware upgrades, the system needs the latest drivers to identify all the components properly.
If you're using an MSI A320M-A Pro, you can easily find the audio drivers on MSI's official support page. Just search for your motherboard model, and you should see the drivers available for download.
