I need recommendations for a new CPU that excels in gaming and can handle some productivity tasks too. My budget for the upgrade is around $1600 CAD, and I'm not planning on purchasing a new GPU. If you're looking for the biggest performance leap, I'd recommend the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D. It's currently the top gaming CPU and handles productivity tasks quite well too. Just keep in mind that the 9800X3D might be a bit overkill for your RTX 5060 Ti, depending on what games you're playing.
