Why Do My External SSDs Keep Disconnecting From My Home PC?

Hey everyone! I have four external SSDs from SanDisk and Kingston, and they work perfectly fine on my notebooks and office PC. But when I connect any of them to my home PC, they keep disconnecting. Windows shows a message (translated from Portuguese) saying, "click to choose what happens to removable devices." It's puzzling because Windows sometimes recognizes the devices, letting me access and save files, but then it disconnects again. I've tried switching USB ports, but I'm running out of options, and none of the SSDs work on my home PC anymore. They all perform well on my notebook. Has anyone faced something similar? I've even made a video showing the problem after plugging in any of the SSDs. [Video Link](https://youtu.be/sYxZmS6TKyc)

Consider using a powered USB hub or try connecting your SSDs directly to the USB ports on the back of the motherboard instead of the front panel. Sometimes, front-panel ports don't get enough power for larger storage devices. If you've already tried that and the problem persists, you might have something off with your home PC's USB ports.

You might want to check if your home PC has any issues with its USB ports. Try plugging in other USB storage devices—how do they perform? If they work fine, it could just be a compatibility issue with your SSDs. Otherwise, you might want to investigate your USB drivers or even your power settings to see if something is messing with the connection.
