I often get spam emails, but I received one that felt different. It included my password and coincided with a notification about a login attempt on my Epic Games account. I changed my email password as it came from myself, but I didn't change my Epic Games password since I have two-factor authentication (2FA) in place. Am I safe, or are there further steps I should take to ensure I'm not being watched?

It's definitely a scam. They really don't have anything on you besides possibly an old password from a past breach. Changing your passwords is a good call, and don't stress about it too much. Also, it's easy to fake the sender's email address, so you shouldn't worry about whether it actually came from your account. Just make sure to enhance your security measures where you can! Keep an eye on your accounts and update your passwords regularly.
Thanks for the reassurance! I felt really uneasy when I got that email, but it's good to know I handled it right.
