Hey everyone! I'm planning to take the AZ-800/801 certification before the year ends. I see a lot of people suggesting to just go through the Microsoft Learn platform, but honestly, when I try to dive in, it feels overwhelming. With my full-time job and no previous experience in Windows server infrastructure, I feel like it could take me 2-3 months to cover everything. So, for those of you who have passed the cert, do you have any tips or recommendations on resources?

I passed both last year and found John's YouTube channel super helpful, along with practicing in Hyper-V. Make sure to check out MeasureUp practice exams too. If you’re new to Windows Server, 2-3 months is definitely reasonable. I managed to prepare in 6 weeks, but I had some sysadmin experience. Prioritize AD, DNS, and hybrid topics, as those are key areas on the exam.
It's really all about your priorities! If you can dedicate a couple of nights a week to studying, I think you could get through it in a month or so. Just create a study plan that fits into your schedule.
Honestly, just don't overthink it and keep pushing through! You got this!
Here are a couple of links that might help you out: https://certs.msfthub.wiki/azure/az-800/ and https://certs.msfthub.wiki/azure/az-801/. They provide good info on both exams!
Consider enrolling in a boot camp. I went with certificationcamps.com and found it was much easier than preparing for the AZ-104 or AZ-305. They do a decent job of preparing you for the exams!
That sounds great, but I heard certification camps are pretty pricey, like over $4500. Is it really worth it?

What specific videos from John's channel did you find useful? I saw he has some exam dumps, but I'm not sure they cover AZ-800/801.
