Looking for PC Building Advice: What Should I Consider?

I'm getting back into building PCs after more than ten years, and my current setup is really struggling. I'm upgrading on a budget and have settled on some parts (check out my build here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DvhYnp). I'm wondering two things: 1) Is there anything I might have missed or should definitely include? and 2) How complicated is the assembly going to be, and what should I do to prepare? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I've heard the 5050 and 9060XT 8GB outperform the 3060 for a similar price, so definitely consider that GPU. As for assembly, building a PC nowadays is pretty straightforward, just like any other build. You should be fine!

Thanks, I'll look at changing my GPU.

If you're gaming or doing content creation, think about extra storage. That 512GB SSD will fill up quickly. Your motherboard supports two M.2 slots, so you could use a smaller M.2 for boot and apps, and then get a SATA drive for games. Just a note: it only has three USB A 3.1 ports, so if you have a lot of devices, you might need a hub.

I run off a 256 GB SSD currently, doing a lot of emulation which isn't too space-heavy, but I'll consider your advice about storage. The USB ports are fine for me, I only plug my mouse and keyboard in. Thanks for your help!

Make sure your case includes fans! If not, you'll need those too. Your CPU comes with a cooler, but it's good to have at least one extra fan for airflow, especially if you're sticking to 1080p with that setup.

Yeah, I have a 1080p monitor and I'm content. I completely forgot about fans though; I can recycle one from my old computer but I'll get one more just to be safe. Thank you!
