Hey everyone! I'm needing some help with upgrading my PC. Right now, I mainly play multiplayer shooters like CS2, Valorant, and Dota2, but I'm eager to dive into some AAA titles like Wukong, Ghost of Tsushima, and Horizon. I plan to stick with 1080p for the time being, and I already have two 1080p monitors with a 165Hz refresh rate.

Here are my current specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 (6 cores / 12 threads, overclocked)
- CPU Cooler: Stock AMD Wraith Stealth
- Motherboard: MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX (Micro-ATX)
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER (6 GB GDDR6)
- RAM: 32 GB DDR4 (3200 MHz)
- Storage: 1x NVMe SSD
- PSU: CORSAIR VS550 (550W)

I'm planning to upgrade both my PSU and GPU for better performance and FPS. Any suggestions?

Since you're using 1080p 165Hz monitors, a combination of a new PSU and used GPU would be ideal.
1. **GPU**: Consider the used Radeon RX 6700 XT (12GB) since it handles texture-heavy games well.
2. **PSU**: Go for a new 650W model like the MSI MAG or Corsair CX650.
3. **Cooler**: If you're overclocking, a good cooler like the Thermalright Assassin X 120 could help cool your setup significantly.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm leaning towards the 6800 XT or 7700 XT but need to check if my motherboard will support it.

What's your budget looking like? You definitely want to upgrade your GPU, and maybe the PSU as well, but I'm not sure if both are absolutely necessary right now. Also, you might want to check out a good air cooler for better efficiency!

I'm looking at around $200-300, and I'm open to used cards too!

Honestly, the biggest concern is your PSU. If it's older, it might struggle under high loads. You should definitely replace it soon. I suggest considering a solid 850W PSU for future upgrades. If you're okay with slightly exceeding your budget, a 9060 XT 16GB would be an epic option for AAA titles. If the $300 limit is strict, a 3060 Ti could work, but just know it might not hold up for all the newest games.

I appreciate the advice! I’ll search for a good PSU and check out some benchmarks for the 9060 XT.

If you're set on that budget, I'd recommend the RTX 3060 12 GB or even the 3060 Ti or 3070 for a nice performance boost. Just be aware that the 3070 might need a stronger PSU than you currently have.

I'm cool with upgrading the PSU, so I'll look into those options!
