I'm looking to improve my gaming performance and I recently picked up a Gigabyte RTX 5060 Ti 8GB. However, I'm considering upgrading to a 2080 Ti 11GB because I've seen my brother's system perform noticeably better with the same GPU, especially in games like ARC RAIDERS at 4K resolution. I've seen some reviews suggesting that the 2080 Ti outperforms the 5060 Ti, but I'm a bit confused about what to do next. What do you all think?

According to TechPowerUp's benchmarks, the 2080 Ti is actually about 10% slower than the 5060 Ti, and you'll miss out on features like frame generation. So if you're having performance issues, switching to the 2080 Ti might not solve anything for you.
If you're set on the 5060 Ti, make sure to get the 16GB VRAM model if you can. It really makes a difference in performance. Good luck!
Yeah, I already have both but I just want to hit that 1440p 60fps target.
When it comes to gaming at 4K, 8GB of VRAM can be limiting. A 16GB version would definitely give you better performance than the 2080 Ti. I’m curious why you got both the 5060 Ti and the 2080 Ti instead of just going for a top-tier modern GPU?
I couldn’t afford a top-one option at the time, but I'm planning to sell the 5060.

That’s interesting! I’ve checked everything else and it all seems fine. I have a 100Hz monitor and some people suggested I should think about upgrading that, but it looks okay to me.
