I'm starting a new brand and need to purchase a domain for my e-commerce website. I'm looking for a provider that offers email services (like [email protected]) along with free email forwarding and essential privacy protection. It would be great to find a long-term, budget-friendly option. I've heard Zoho is now offering domain services too; any thoughts on that? Additionally, I'm looking for hosting recommendations and good DNS providers since my site's traffic will be low at first but is expected to grow. Thanks for any help!

After checking about 30 domain providers, I gotta say Spaceship.com is my top choice! I never heard of them before, but I've ended up getting nearly 30 domains from them and counting. Their pricing is fantastic, and their service is solid.
I'd steer clear of GoDaddy. My experience with them was pretty awful; I bought a domain that just stopped working, and despite multiple complaints, I lost both my money and the domain. Definitely not worth it!
Why do you say that? Was it just a one-off issue?
Yikes, that's frustrating! What happened exactly?
If you're looking for budget options, check out tldes.com and tld-list.com. They help you find the cheapest registration options. Just keep in mind some registrars lure you in with low first-year rates but then spike the renewal fees. You can switch registrars later if needed, so plan ahead!
I usually get my domains from Porkbun. They've been great for me, very straightforward and reasonably priced!
Same here! Porkbun really does a good job.

Thanks for the tip! Any ideas on good hosting options?
