I'm seeking recommendations for a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution that best fits our business needs. We have around 90 devices, a mix of Windows and MacOS. I've been testing Fleet, which is budget-friendly, but I'm considering other options like Intune and Jamf. However, there's a hiccup: our Macs weren't bought using an account, so I can't enroll them in Apple Business Manager (ABM). This status limits our control since these devices will always be seen as user-owned rather than company-owned. Since our team works remotely across four continents, I need a solution that can:
- Enforce checks on OS updates, disk encryption, and required software installations.
- Allow remote installation and uninstallation of software and patches.
- Provide the ability to remotely execute commands, like removing sensitive files from the downloads folder regularly.
- Enable remote wipe functionality.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

For managing MacOS devices, I've been using Mosyle Fuse, and it's performing really well. They offer solid customer support and the pricing is competitive compared to JamfPro. Plus, you don’t need devices enrolled in ABM, although keep in mind that you might have to wipe the device if you want to add it manually later.
If you have proof of purchase, you can work with Apple to enroll your Macs in ABM. There’s also a possibility to do that if you can physically access the devices, but I know that's tricky with your team's setup. As for MDM options, Workspace ONE supports Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android, typically at a lower cost than Intune.
I spoke with Apple about ABM, and they informed me that you need to wipe the device and be there in person, which isn’t feasible for us. Regarding Workspace ONE, I've noticed they have different licensing options; considering my requirements, which plan would you recommend?

Is Mosyle strictly for Apple devices? Ideally, I’d prefer a unified solution for both Mac and Windows.
