I'm looking for a way to have my PC automatically start up when I turn on the power to the socket. I want to clarify that I'm not referring to the power restoring feature that turns the PC back on after a power failure. Instead, I'm interested in whether it's possible to have the PC turn on just by cutting the power to the socket and then turning it back on, even if it was shut down correctly through Windows beforehand. Is there a setting for this?

Consider getting a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) too! It can help prevent issues during power outages and keep your PC running smoothly.
If your BIOS doesn’t support that, another idea would be to use a smart plug that can send a signal to power on the PC. However, make sure the plug you’re using is compatible with your PC's power settings.
You should check your BIOS settings; there's usually an option to control this kind of behavior. Look for something like 'Power On After Power Failure.' If it's set to 'Power On' that should do the trick for your needs.
