Which RAM Should I Choose for My PC Build?

I'm building a new PC and I'm trying to decide between two RAM options. I've got a choice between 8000 MHz with 38 CAS latency (Fury Renegade) and 6000 MHz with 30 CAS latency (Fury Beast). I'm curious which one might perform better and if you have any other recommendations. Just to clarify, my motherboard supports both options with a range from 5400 to 8200 MHz.

Honestly, just pick the one that's cheaper in your area. If the prices are close, then the 6000 MHz might be the better bet.

It really depends on your setup—Intel or AMD. For example, if you're on Intel and can handle 8000 MHz well, that one might edge ahead in some benchmarks. But for AMD systems, the relationship between memory clock and the controller can make 6000 MHz CL30 a better choice since it typically runs in a more efficient 1:1 mode. This means you might not see the benefits of 8000 MHz due to increased latency when using it on AMD.

I'd go with the 6000 MHz CL30. It generally has better performance for most applications, especially on AMD builds. The lower CAS latency can really make a difference in real-world performance.
