I think I've been hacked, and I'm not sure what to do next. My Discord account suddenly started sending messages with an image link to everyone, but I'm stuck and don't know where to go from here. I've changed my Discord password already, but should I change all my other accounts right away, or is it better to wait a bit? I'm worried about my computer too since Windows isn't finding any issues.

First things first, set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) on your Discord account right now. After that, make sure to enable MFA on all other accounts that use the same username/password combination. And remember, by 2025, try to sign up only for services that offer MFA. Email codes don’t count as MFA, so stick to authenticator apps or texts instead!
Check if you're using the same password across multiple websites—that's a big no-no! Make sure to go through every site where you've used that password and change it. This is a perfect time to start using a password manager, too. And definitely enable 2FA on your important accounts.
You should log out of all your active sessions immediately, then change your password again. Once that's done, make sure you set up MFA on your account. And it's a good idea to change the passwords on any accounts where you used that same password.
Before you do anything, it’s wise to check if your computer has malware. Install a reliable antivirus for a thorough scan. Once you've taken care of that, secure your online accounts, starting with your Google account. Make sure to set up 2FA for any impacted accounts and warn your friends not to click on any suspicious links they might get from you!
What free antivirus software would you recommend?

I'm actually changing passwords on all my accounts right now and setting up 2FA right after.
