I'm diving into my first PC build and I've put together a list of parts to work with. I'm curious about whether my selections have any bottlenecks or compatibility issues. I'm also aiming for white components since my case is pink. My budget is around $3,000 Canadian dollars, but I'm flexible on that. Here's the breakdown of my parts:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core
- **CPU Cooler:** Corsair NAUTILUS 360 RS ARGB
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE ATX AM5
- **Memory:** Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith Gaming 32 GB DDR5-6000
- **Storage:** Kingston NV3 2 TB M.2 NVME SSD
- **Video Card:** Asus PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB
- **Case:** HYTE X50 ATX Mid Tower
- **Power Supply:** MSI MAG A750GL 750 W 80+ Gold Certified

Your build looks solid overall! It's actually well-optimized as it stands. If you want to save a bit, consider swapping in a 5080 and bumping up to an 850W power supply if your budget allows. If you're mainly doing productivity tasks, an X3D CPU might be overkill, though. You might even think about switching to a 7800X3D and a white B850 motherboard for potential savings.
What resolution are you planning to play at? That can really affect whether your current build will meet your needs!
720 or 1080 is good for me. I use Blender, Photoshop, have a ton of tabs open, and sometimes stream too.

Thanks for the feedback! Maybe I’ll switch the CPU to a Ryzen 9 7900X instead since I don’t play FPS games.
