Why is my WiFi showing 0 upload speed while wired connection works fine?

I'm experiencing an issue with my WiFi where the upload speed shows as 0, even though I'm getting a solid 200 Mbps download speed. However, when I connect my computer via Ethernet, both upload and download speeds are around 200 Mbps. Could this be a problem with my router or something else?

It sounds like your WiFi is not being utilized when your PC is hardwired, which explains the difference in performance. When you're connected via Ethernet, the WiFi settings aren't in play at all. Make sure to test the WiFi speed when you're not connected to the Ethernet. Also, the zero upload speed issue might not be typical; if it's showing 0, there might be an IP conflict or something on your router blocking the upload test.

I should clarify that whenever I test my hardwired PC, the speeds are both around 200. But once I switch to WiFi, I can’t get the upload to work and get an error indicating "No connection found".

If you truly had 0 upload speed, TCP wouldn't work properly since it needs some upload bandwidth for acknowledgements. It could be that your router is seeing any upload attempts as suspicious and blocking them. Try running the speed test again with the firewall temporarily disabled to see if that makes any difference.
