Should I Stick with Web Development or Pursue AI Further?

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some guidance on my journey in tech. I started learning web development when I was 14 and have spent around a year and a half diving into skills like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. Recently, I got curious about AI and Python, but only explored it for a month or two without going too deep. Now that I'm almost 16, I feel like web development, particularly the MERN Stack, has a clearer and quicker pathway compared to the long and winding road of AI. So, should I fully commit to completing my web development studies, or was switching to AI even worth it? I'd love to hear honest suggestions!

If web development is what you really want, that's your answer. Do you have any projects from your web dev experience? Having something to show can boost your confidence.

Yes, I want to become a developer! I've created a few basic projects just for practice.

You're only 16! You have plenty of time to experiment. Go with what brings you joy. If you find AI intriguing, continue exploring it. If web development feels more fun, dive back in! And hey, trying both isn’t a bad idea either—having more skills can only help you.

Your options aren't set in stone! It's not about choosing one over the other. Why not combine both interests? Just like switching breakfast foods, do what excites you and keeps your curiosity alive! Tech is always evolving, so embrace it all!
