Last week, I switched the email linked to my Reddit account from x.mail to y.mail. Just yesterday, shortly after posting in a subreddit, I received an email at my OLD address saying my account was blocked for suspicious activity, along with a link to change my password. After changing my password, Reddit created a new account for both emails. I even looked for my username and posts, but it seems like I've been completely wiped from the platform. My post was about awareness of racism history. Is it possible that I was targeted by some racist moderators? What might have happened?

Honestly, it sounds like changing your email triggered some automated security measures by Reddit. With all the crazy stuff going on online, their system can go overboard sometimes.
You could be getting flagged just because of the sudden changes you made. Reddit's security is quite strict, especially on accounts that seem to have gone through some drastic updates. It’s frustrating, for sure!
Right? I had a weird experience too after making some changes. Their policies can really affect people without giving any clear explanations.
I get that! It's super unsettling to think your account was deleted without a warning. You might want to check their support page to see if you can file an appeal.
