I'm gearing up to build a new computer in the next few days and would love to hear your thoughts on my hardware choices. Here's what I'm planning to use:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- **GPU:** MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G VENTUS 3X OC
- **Motherboard:** MSI MAG Tomahawk WIFI AMD X870
- **RAM:** 32 GB Kingston FURY Beast DDR5-6000 CL30 Dual Kit
- **SSD:** Samsung 990 PRO 1TB with heatsink
I'm wondering if there's anything here I could swap out to save some cash while still keeping the same level of performance. Alternatively, should I invest a bit more for a significant upgrade in performance?

If you're aiming for 1440p gaming with high settings, consider switching to a Ryzen 7800X3D and pairing it with a less expensive B850 motherboard. If you find a Radeon 9070 XT for a good price, that could work too. Also, if you're keen on saving, think about going for the Samsung 990 pro without the heatsink if it's cheaper. Oh, and I noticed you didn't mention a cooler!
What components do you already own and what’s your primary use for this build?
This will mainly be for 1440p gaming, and I won't need it for video editing. I'm planning to give my current PC to my girlfriend, so I won't be using any of those parts. Thanks for your help!

So, will these alternatives give me comparable performance but for less money? Are there benefits to sticking with what I have, like durability? I focused on the main components first but will tackle the cooler and case later. Thanks!
