I'm just getting my feet wet in the PC building world and would love to hear your thoughts on my planned build. Here's what I'm going for:
- **Processor**: AMD Ryzen™ 7 7800X3D
- **Graphics Card**: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5070 WINDFORCE OC SFF 12G
- **CPU Cooler**: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5
- **SSD**: SAMSUNG 990 EVO Plus 2 TB (already have a second 2TB SSD)
- **RAM**: Kingston FURY DIMM 32 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 16 GB dual kit)
- **Motherboard**: GIGABYTE B650M AORUS ELITE AX ICE
- **Power Supply**: Cooler Master MWE 750 V3 Black
- **Case**: Fractal Design Meshify C Dark Tint TG
Any advice or feedback would be super helpful! Thanks a lot!

You might want to reconsider a few things. A uATX motherboard in a full-size case can look a bit odd. I suggest switching to a full ATX motherboard or a smaller case. Also, the Dark Rock Pro cooler is pretty pricey for what you get—there are cheaper options out there that perform just as well! With RAM prices being high, focus less on the specific timings. A decent kit will work well with your X3D chip!
Your build looks solid for gaming and multitasking! Just keep an eye on the RAM's latency since it really impacts performance at high speeds. It should be awesome if the latency is good!
The Dark Rock Pro isn’t the best choice for the AM5 socket—it’s a bit overpriced too. You could check out options like the Phantom Spirit or Peerless Assassin instead for better value. Also, the Meshify C is getting a bit dated and comes with only one front fan; consider looking for more modern cases. If you're open to alternatives, I’d recommend switching to a 16GB 9070/9070XT if that fits your budget better than the 5070!
Could you recommend a good case to go with instead?

Is Thermaltake considered the same as Thermalright? I can't find Thermalright on the site I’ve been using. Also, are you saying the motherboard I picked is uATX? If so, can you suggest a good alternative?
