How can I easily switch my desktop to Couch Mode with a single button?

I have a Windows 11 desktop setup with two monitors connected via DisplayPort and an HDMI cable to my nearby TV. Ideally, I want to keep the TV connection disabled most of the time to avoid any random programs opening there while I use my main monitors. I'm looking for a way to quickly activate a 'Couch Mode' where the two monitors are disabled, my computer goes into Do Not Disturb mode, and all relevant apps are routed to the TV for gaming. Is there any software or script that can help me achieve this?

It sounds like you're trying to streamline your workflow for a smoother gaming experience! Honestly, you can create a simple script using AutoHotkey on Windows. With a bit of coding, you can set up a shortcut that would turn off your monitors and enable Do Not Disturb. You might also want to take a look at using a KVM switch if you're frequently switching between setups! It's more hardware-based but can simplify things significantly.

I feel you! I have a similar setup, and it can be a hassle at times. Have you checked for any task automation tools? I know some users create batch files that can toggle monitor settings with a single click. That might be worth exploring!

If you’re curious about existing solutions, you could look for programs like DisplayFusion or others that let you set up profiles for monitor setups. You can switch profiles quickly, which might include turning off certain displays and activating gaming modes. Just make sure to check their features to see if they line up with your needs!
