I recently got married and decided to put some of the wedding money towards upgrading my graphics card. My wife uses my PC for her work in data modeling and AI, and I'm looking to enhance the system for gaming on my end. I'm not very experienced with hardware, and prices on graphics cards seem really confusing to me. So, I'm wondering what graphics card you would recommend that fits under a $1000 budget?

If you’re open to buying used, you might find a 3090 or 3090 Ti for a great price. Alternatively, consider the 5070 Ti or potentially two 5060 Ti 16GB cards if your setup can handle it.

It’s a good idea to check if your power supply unit (PSU) and CPU might need upgrades too before buying a new graphics card. Make sure everything is compatible!

That’s a solid tip! I have a 7th gen Intel CPU, but I'm not sure about my PSU. I’ll definitely do some digging to see if anything else needs upgrading.
