How can I remove a persistent Trojan virus from my computer?

I've been receiving notifications from Microsoft Defender about a Trojan virus, specifically "Trojan:Win32/Nsteal.SA." The alerts keep popping up, and although I try to take action, nothing happens. When I run a scan, it says there are no current threats, but I keep getting the same Trojan notifications throughout the day. I'm stuck in this frustrating loop and need some help with this situation!

I recommend searching for Trojan virus removal guides online and following the steps provided there. Good luck with fixing it!

Does Microsoft Defender specify any particular file that's causing the issue? That might help narrow down the problem.

You could try using a free version of Malwarebytes to run a manual scan. Also, don't forget to back up your important files just in case you need to reinstall Windows later on.

I will definitely give this a try.
