I attempted a factory reset on my laptop, but now it's been restarting for hours, flashing a blue Windows installation screen briefly and getting stuck at 64%. I'm not sure how to fix this. Any suggestions?

That sounds frustrating! If the screen keeps flashing and restarting, you may be unable to even access the USB method. You could try letting the laptop sit for a while and see if it eventually stabilizes. If not, it might need professional help.

You might want to try creating a USB installer for Windows. Boot from that USB, and during the installation, delete all existing partitions, then select the large unpartitioned space for the new installation. Just make sure your USB drive is at least 8GB. Also, good idea to download your network drivers and add them to the USB after creating it.
