I have an MSI GL Leopard laptop from 2020 that I primarily use for web browsing and occasional gaming. Lately, I've been experiencing a persistent screen flickering issue, along with some ghosting effects. It started off infrequently but has now become a constant problem. While lowering the refresh rate used to help a bit, it no longer seems to make a difference. I'm leaning towards thinking it might be a hardware issue, but I'm curious to hear what others think.

Have you tried connecting your laptop to an external monitor to see if the flickering persists there? It might help pinpoint whether it's a hardware problem with the laptop screen or something else.
I had a similar problem with my laptop. When I tried an external display, everything worked perfectly. That could indicate there's an issue with your laptop screen itself.
