I've been having a frustrating issue with frame rates on my PC. No matter which game I play—be it Siege, Apex, or even Rocket League on medium settings—my frame rates fluctuate wildly, dropping anywhere between 250 and 100. It's confusing, especially since these games aren't demanding at all. Here are my specs: I have an Intel i7 11700k processor, 32 GB of Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR4 RAM, and I recently upgraded from a 1080 Ti to an EVGA FTW Ultra 3070. I made sure to use DDU to remove the old drivers and installed the latest ones for the new GPU, but I'm still facing this instability. Any ideas on what I can do?

Since you just upgraded your GPU, the shader cache might still be set for your old 1080 Ti. Look up how to delete the shader cache for Steam and other game launchers, then clear it. This will force the games to compile new shaders for your 3070, which could improve stability. Also, don't forget to run Disk Cleanup to clear Windows' default shaders too. Good luck!
You might want to try rolling back your drivers to version 566.36 for the 3070. If that doesn’t help, keep an eye on your CPU and GPU temps and usage while you're gaming; anything above 60% utilization could be a red flag for performance dips.
I'm having similar issues with an i5 11400f and a RX 6600xt. It seems to be a common problem with certain setups!
What resolution are you playing at? Running at a higher resolution might help with stability, especially in certain games.
I'm playing at 1920x1080p.
My GPU and CPU utilization is usually in the 50s and 60s while playing Siege, and the temps are around the same too.
