Need Help Judging My PC Build for Gaming and Content Creation

I'm transitioning from console to PC gaming and looking for some guidance on my planned build. I've been soaking in a lot of information from YouTube, PCPartPicker, and Grok, but it feels overwhelming. My goal is to create a mid-range gaming PC that can handle multiplayer games like Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Siege, CS:GO, Valorant, and Minecraft, ideally with high graphics settings and a minimum of 100 FPS. I also want it to be capable of video editing and content creation without compromising performance. I'm aiming for a good balance between gaming performance and other uses. Here are the components I'm considering:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 GAMING OC 12GB GDDR7
- Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI
- RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000
- Storage: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD
- Case: Lian Li Lancool 216 RGB Black
- Power Supply: Seasonic FOCUS GX-850 850W 80+ Gold Fully Modular
- Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S

Considering it's Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I'm looking to make these purchases soon. I'm in the UK and would appreciate your thoughts on whether I've made a solid choice or if I need to reconsider certain components for better value without sacrificing performance. Thanks a ton!

Honestly, I’d suggest steering clear of the AMD Ryzen. They have solid marketing, but performance-wise, there are better options out there.

That’s a weak reason not to buy it. If you have data to back up your claim, I’d love to see it. The Ryzen 7800X3D has been shown to outperform Intel for gaming in a lot of tests.

Not to mention, Intel's upcoming Nova Lake won't be out until next year, so right now, the 7800X3D is a solid choice.

What’s your budget for the build? Prices for RAM and SSDs are pretty high right now, which could push your costs up significantly.

I appreciate the reply! I'm looking at around 1.5k as my max, with a sweet spot between 1.1k-1.3k for a mid-range rig. I know RAM is pricey right now, but I'm willing to invest a little more for quality.
