Help! My New PC Can’t Handle Graphics-Intensive Games

I'm really new to PC gaming, and I'm super frustrated right now. I just bought a new PC that's supposed to handle a lot of games without any issues, but I keep running into problems with several graphics-heavy titles I got from Steam. Here's a rundown of what's happening: Red Dead Redemption 2 works fine in windowed mode but not in full screen; Cyberpunk crashes on startup; FF7 Remake runs terribly slow; FF7 Rebirth also crashes on startup; Expedition 33 crashes at the start; and Spiderman 2 is extremely laggy.

I've already done a clean reinstall of my GPU drivers and chipset, reinstalled all C++ redistributables, and made sure DirectX12 is up to date. My specs are solid too: ASUS Prime B650-Plus Wifi motherboard, AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D CPU, AMD Radeon RX 9070XT GPU, Windows 11, and 32GB DDR5 RAM with a 2TB SSD.

Any guidance would mean the world to me because I'm really at my wit's end trying to figure this out!

First off, great build! You’ve got a beast of a machine. One common issue with setups like yours is where you connect your display. Make sure your monitor is plugged directly into the GPU rather than the motherboard. That can often solve display problems after a build.

It's always the motherboard I swear.

Just to confirm, your specs are really impressive for gaming! Check if your system is detecting the graphics card properly. You can do this by hitting the Windows key and typing 'sysinfo'—look to see if the 9070XT is listed there. If it’s missing, you might need to reseat the card, since they can sometimes get a bit loose during shipping.

Thank you, I decided to treat myself after 10+ years on a very old rig hahaha. And yes! The issue was where I plugged my display cable. I'm actually an idiot!
