Need Help Installing Mod Organizers on Linux Mint

I'm new to Linux and I'm looking for some guidance on installing a mod organizer to play modded Skyrim or Fallout 4. I'm currently using Linux Mint with Steam and Proton 9, along with the latest version of Wine and Proton Tricks.

I've tried following some online instructions to install Vortex, but whenever I launch the game, it crashes immediately even without any mods installed. I also attempted to set up Mod Organizer 2 (MO2) following a different set of instructions, but ran into errors while trying to install Wine Tricks, which I thought I already had. I managed to bypass that issue, and though everything else seemed to install fine, the game won't launch properly as it did before. I really want to avoid going back to Windows since I mainly use this computer for gaming, so any tips or troubleshooting advice would be greatly appreciated!

I utilized the rockerbacon script for installing MO2 specifically for Skyrim and Fallout. It really worked well for me. Just a heads-up though, I wouldn't recommend using steamtinkerlaunch; it tends to be quite buggy, if it even functions at all!

I followed the Github instructions for MO2 based on the rockerbacon script too. Did you face any issues during the installation, or did it go smoothly for you? Also, thanks for the warning about steamtinkerlaunch; I was considering that as my next step.
