Hey everyone, I recently upgraded to an ASRock Radeon RX 9070XT in my PC build and I'm absolutely loving it! However, I've been running into some serious stability issues whenever I try to undervolt or overclock my GPU, RAM, or CPU. I stress-tested everything at stock settings, and everything seems fine. I also got a new PSU that's ATX 3.1 compliant, so I don't think that's the problem. I read that my current motherboard, the MSI B350M Pro-VDH, only supports PCIe 3.0 and has limited VRM quality. With all that in mind, would it be worth it for me to upgrade to a B550M? I've seen discussions suggesting that upgrading isn't necessary for lower-end GPUs, but does that change with a powerful card like the 9070XT? Thanks a lot!

It sounds like your stability issues might be linked to your current B350 motherboard. A solid approach would be to try tuning your RAM and CPU settings manually—like adjusting the SoC voltage and possibly lowering the RAM speed. If that doesn’t help, then upgrading to a B550M could be a good idea. Also, make sure your BIOS is up-to-date; that's crucial for compatibility. Just keep in mind that Ryzen usually benefits from a dual-channel setup.
I appreciate the tips! I’ve updated my BIOS, and I’ve been stress-testing different settings, but stock seems to be the most stable for me. I can't identify a specific component causing the issue either. Selling the B350M for around €40-50 and spending €90 on the ASRock B550M Pro4 seems like a reasonable plan. However, I'm hesitant to spend if it won't resolve my issues!
