I recently decided to sell my computer case and monitor, but I wasn't able to erase the data from my SSD due to confusion with the tutorials. My only solution was to remove the SSD and destroy it. Now, I'm a bit paranoid and wondering if the person who buys the case can still recover any of my information or files from the remaining components, like the motherboard or fan, without the SSD. Can they? Please answer simply: yes or no, with an easy-to-understand explanation!

Exactly, all your data is stored on the SSD. So since you've taken that out, the buyer won't find any of your info in the case. It’s like when you sell a wallet after taking out your cash and cards – they can’t steal what’s not there!
Just to clarify, if you have your SSD, then your data is still safe with you. The case itself is just metal and doesn’t store any info unless you left another drive inside. So even with the motherboard and other parts there, they can't access your data without the SSD.
Wow, I feel a bit silly for worrying! Thanks so much for explaining.
Nope, if there's no SSD, there's no data left for anyone to recover. So unless there was another storage drive you didn't mention, you're in the clear! But just be mindful that you can still retrieve files from the SSD you've kept if it wasn’t destroyed.
Phew, that makes me feel better! All that's left are just the fan and motherboard, right?

Haha, that's a funny analogy! Thanks, that helps a lot!
