I upgraded my PC a while back and currently have a B550 motherboard with a Ryzen 9 5900X CPU, along with 32 GB of DDR4 RAM. I installed my older 2019 RTX 2070 graphics card, but I've been thinking about upgrading to a 5070 Ti. With the recent delays and cancellations of the 50-series, I'm leaning towards making the jump now. However, I'm concerned about potential bottlenecking with my CPU and RAM. Will the upgrade cause significant issues, or will it be manageable? What would you guys recommend?

If you're looking for an alternative to the 5070 Ti, consider the RX 9070 XT with 16GB of RAM. It might be a better fit for your setup.
Bottleneck calculators suggest that at 1440p, you could see about a 12% bottleneck, which is manageable. If you aren’t playing highly competitive games where every frame counts, you should be just fine. Just so you know, those calculators can be hit or miss, though!
You won't have problems with the 5950 and 5090 pairing, but even with a potential bottleneck, if you’re consistently hitting 300 or 400 FPS, does it really matter?
You might see some CPU bottlenecking with the 5900X and the 5070 Ti, but it really depends on the game you're playing. It should be usable overall, especially considering the current RAM shortages. I've got similar parts (a 5080 instead of a 5070 Ti) and while some CPU-intensive games might show lower performance, you’ll still be able to enjoy most titles without too much trouble.
Resolution plays a big role here. The higher the resolution, the less you'll notice any bottleneck. The 5900X, while not the top choice for gaming, is fast enough to run most games at decent frame rates. Don't stress about it too much!
