My PC Won’t Boot – Is It a Power Supply Issue?

I'm having a problem with my PC where the CPU and DRAM lights turn on, but it doesn't boot at all, or it shuts off right away. Here's my build: MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi, 9800X3D, Kingston Fury Beast 32GB DDR5 RAM, and a Corsair RM850X 850W power supply. When I plug in the GPU, there are no lights or indications of power. Could this be a power supply issue? Also, I've noticed that the CPU and DRAM debug lights are activated when I attempt to boot up.

It sounds like it could be a PSU issue, especially since there are no lights when the GPU is plugged in. Check all your connections, and you may want to test your PSU with a tester if you have one.

First off, try booting your PC without the GPU and see if it starts up using the integrated graphics. If it works, that might indicate a problem with the GPU or its connection.

I can't get it to boot with the GPU plugged in. When I try that, there are no debug lights at all.

I had a similar issue where my GPU was causing all the problems. Make sure it's seated properly and the power connectors are secure.
