Looking for a Linux Distro That’s Stable and Beginner-Friendly

Hey everyone! I've been a Windows user for years, but I'm ready to make the switch to Linux. I'd love some recommendations for a stable distro that supports hacking tools, is safe, open source, and isn't too complicated—ideally something that's not based on Arch Linux. Any suggestions that fit the bill?

Zorin or Fedora are both great starting points. They have user-friendly interfaces and are pretty reliable.

While Kali is useful for hacking, Debian is actually a safer and more stable option. You can always install the specific tools you need later without compromising the system’s security.

I've found that Kali Linux is a popular choice for hacking tools since it's open-source, but if you're looking for something easier to start with, Fedora and Linux Mint are excellent options.

You might want to check out Distrosea; it lets you play around with different distros right in your browser, although performance will be lower. For a solid experience, I'd recommend sticking to Mint or Fedora Silverblue for daily use. You can even test out a live USB of Linux Mint to see how you like it before committing.

Honestly, any of the mainstream distros will do the trick. Just pick one and install it. They're all free, so you can try out different ones to see what you prefer!
