Help with Dual Monitors – One Shows No Signal

Hey everyone! I just got a new PC tower and set up dual monitors, but I'm running into an issue. The first monitor works perfectly, but the second one, which I have daisy chained, keeps showing a 'no signal detected' message. I've tried switching out HDMI cables, rebooting the monitor, and even checking to see if the screen itself is working by plugging it into the PC directly. Everything seems fine on that end. I've also made sure my computer is updated, but nothing seems to help. I'm really stuck here and would appreciate any suggestions!

Yeah, ditch the daisy chaining! You need to plug one monitor into the HDMI port and the other into an available DisplayPort on your computer. Most monitors have both types, so you should be good to go with a DisplayPort cable!

I appreciate the advice! I'm not that tech-savvy, but I really need dual screens for work, so this helps a lot!

It sounds like you're dealing with some daisy chaining confusion. Make sure you have separate connections for each monitor; you should ideally use an HDMI cable for one and a DisplayPort for the other. That way, each monitor connects directly to your PC, which should solve your problem!

Thanks for the tip! I wasn't completely sure how the daisy chaining works, so I'll definitely try connecting each monitor separately.

First, double-check what ports you have on your PC. Besides the HDMI, do you have a DisplayPort or USB-C option? You'll want to use those to connect each monitor directly to your computer for the best performance.

I found a DisplayPort plug as well, so that should work fine with one monitor. Thanks for the heads-up!
