Hey everyone! I'm new to building and upgrading PCs, as I've mostly bought pre-built ones in the past. My current setup is lagging with recent games; they freeze, don't render properly, and just feel slow overall. I think it's definitely time for an upgrade. While I'd love recommendations for a good GPU, I'm also on a budget, so anything that is not too expensive would be super helpful!

For a good balance between performance and cost, the RX 9070 and 9070 XT are solid choices. They give you great value without breaking the bank, especially for most gaming needs.
The 5090 is the top-tier option, but if you're on a tight budget, you could look at the AMD 9060 XT or the Nvidia 5060 Ti with 16GB. Just keep in mind, your overall system matters too—like your CPU and storage—if they’re outdated, a GPU upgrade alone might not solve all your issues.
If you're looking for the best GPU, the RTX 5090 is currently at the top, but it’s pretty pricey. You might want to consider what your budget is because there's a big jump in price for the high-end models.

Yeah, it's important to have a balanced system! You don’t want to pair a high-end GPU with an old CPU or a slow HDD.
