How can I move unallocated space next to my Bazzite partition?

I'm using a dual boot system where I have Windows installed on the C drive and Bazzite on another drive. I want to transfer some unused space from the Windows partition to the Bazzite partition, but I'm having difficulty using MiniTool Partition Wizard. It seems that the unallocated space isn't located to the right of the Bazzite partition, and I'm not seeing any options to move it. Any advice on how to solve this would be really appreciated!

You can use Windows' built-in Disk Partition Manager: Right-click on your Windows partition and select 'Shrink Volume' to reduce its size, creating unallocated space. Then, right-click on the Bazzite partition and select 'Extend Volume.' Just keep the default settings on that. This should help you utilize the unallocated space. Let me know if you run into issues!

I've done the shrinking and created 150GB of unallocated space. The tricky part is still that the Bazzite partition doesn't have the option to extend into it. I think I need the unallocated space to be next to it, but I'm stuck on how to move it.

To prevent any data loss, it might be wise to create an image of your drive. You can use Macrium Reflect (it's free) to save your partitions to an external storage device. Then, during the restore process, you can set up your partitions as you want, including their sizes and positions. Just keep in mind that if you rearrange them, like moving C to the end, you may need to rebuild the boot sector.

So you're suggesting I reimage the entire drive just to adjust the partitions? That seems a bit drastic!

It sounds like you can't move unallocated space itself, only allocated space. Here's what to do: First, shrink the Windows partition to the left as much as you can. Then move your Bazzite partition next to it, which will place the unallocated space right after it. After that, you should be able to extend your Bazzite partition into that free space. Let me know if that works for you!

That makes sense! Just to clarify, my partition layout currently is: SYSTEM_DRV / (other) / C:Windows(NTFS) / (Ext4) / (Unallocated) / (Other) [Bazzite partition] / WINRE_DRV. I'm still not seeing the option to move the Bazzite partition, though.
