I'm trying to decide between the X570 Asrock Taichi and the Gigabyte Aorus Master motherboards for my Ryzen 7 5800X, which I plan to overclock to 5.025 GHz on all cores. Both options are second hand and don't come with a warranty, so I'm looking for the best choice here.

Honestly, I’m not sure why you’d go for such a high-end board when you could pick something cheaper and more up-to-date. A B850 paired with a 7/9600X could save you money while also being more efficient in the long run. Honestly, it might even outperform what you’re considering.

I get that, but I’ve already picked up the processor brand new, and around here, AM5 parts are priced way higher. Plus, I mostly play Apex at low settings—I'm already getting decent frames, so I don’t feel the need to future-proof too much.
