I work at a small company and use my personal laptop for work, which many of my coworkers do as well. Since our company hasn't installed any monitoring software yet, I'm curious about what my employer can actually see. I make sure to use different Chrome profiles for my work accounts and personal ones. I also have apps that log in through Google Oauth using my work account. I assume the company has access to anything related to my work accounts and apps, but I'm wondering if there's a way for them to see other content on my laptop or from my personal Google accounts when I'm using my non-work profiles.

Honestly, I’m surprised you’re using your personal device for work! Do you guys not have company laptops? Anyway, it’s important to check your company’s acceptable use policy for any guidelines on this. If you’re connecting through your home network and you’ve set up separate profiles, it might lessen risks, but still be cautious. Use company devices if possible, or at least utilize a VPN for added safety.

Totally agree! It’s risky using personal devices for business. You never know how different policies might apply. Better safe than sorry!
