I have a Republic of Gamers monitor that supports up to 165Hz and an Xbox that can go up to 120Hz. However, when using HDMI mode with my monitor, I can only achieve a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz. Is there a way to fix this issue and enable 120Hz on my setup?

To distinguish an HDMI 2.1 cable, look for one that specifies the version. They look similar to older cables, so it might not be obvious. It's important to check the packaging or any labels on the cable itself to confirm it supports HDMI 2.1.
Check the resolution settings on your monitor. Sometimes, certain resolutions limit the refresh rates you can use. Also, ensure you're using an HDMI 2.1 cable, as they are necessary for higher refresh rates. Some monitors only support over 60Hz through DisplayPort instead, which might be the case here.
