I've got a 100mbps leased line, but I'm running into some serious issues. When I try downloading files, like an ISO or even an Adobe Reader update, I'm seeing upwards of 25% packet loss, and the connection often drops entirely for a few seconds. The supplier claims this is normal. Am I overreacting here, or is something actually wrong with my line?

That level of packet loss isn't typical. What's likely happening is that you're maxing out your bandwidth, causing traffic to stack up and the router to drop packets to clear room. If your usage hits 100mbps consistently, some data will inevitably be delayed, leading to problematic connections.

I get the whole latency thing, but over 25% packet loss? That seems excessive. When we download or stream, everything just stops. It’s frustrating having to restart downloads constantly!
