I'm looking for free hosting platforms that don't have ads and let me link to my own domain. I have an extra domain sitting around with Hostinger, but I'm on a budget and can't afford to set up another site. Plus, I'm new to this, so I'm still figuring out the terminology and how everything works.

If you’re working with Next.js, Vercel is specifically optimized for it, so that’s a great choice too!
You could go the DIY route too! If you have a Raspberry Pi, you can set it up as a server and point your domain to it. It’s a fun project if you’re into tinkering!
There aren't many great options for free hosting since hosting generally comes with costs, but if you’re looking into static sites, GitHub Pages is a solid choice! You can host your site there without any fees. Just keep in mind that it's geared more towards developers.
You do have some options for free hosting! Check these out:
1. **Cloudflare** - If your site is static, you can enjoy unlimited data transfer and support for tons of users without spending a dime.
2. **Vercel** - Very user-friendly and great for hosting.
3. **Netlify** - Pretty similar to Vercel, also free and easy to use!
Totally agree, these are great platforms to start with!

That sounds really cool! Do you have any good tutorials or guides for that?
